Starting a wine import business from scratch is no easy task. Of primary importance is, of course, the wine. Number 1 is that it has to be quality wine. Number 2 is that it has to over-deliver for it’s price. The lower end of the market is laden with fair but drinkable industrial wines. Really, when you think about it, the production quality you can find in a 10 dollar bottle of wine in this day and age is pretty amazing. While cheap and drinkable, these industrial wines lack spirit. My aim with this endeavor is to bring wines of distinction from the Mendoza province of Argentina to the State of Colorado. These wines are selected from two family wineries that manage their vineyards and wine production with a deep passion for quality and a unique expression of their terroir.
